The Community Foundation for Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole forms relationships with individual donors, businesses, and other organisations to provide support for local good causes. The Foundation has a strong track record in grantmaking, having distributed over £4 million in grants. Members of the Foundation's board make use of their networks and contacts to make sure that awareness is raised about our services among potential donors.

The board meets four times a year, with other committees as necessary. Applications are particularly welcome from people with business experience, strong networks throughout the county, or with experience of grantmaking and community development.
